Contributions of Dr. Haim Mazar (Madjar) to ITU-R

The author of this website submitted to ITU-R numerous contributions since 1991; in total about 260 technical contributions to ITU-R. Since October 2015, the author serves as vice chair of ITU-R Study Group 5 (terrestrial services). Most of the contributions are addressed to the ITU-R Working Parties (WP); mainly WP1A, 1B, IC; 6E (now 6A), 8A (now 5A), 9D (now 5C), 5A, 5B, 5C and 5D. The Contributions refer mainly to RF spectrum management and monitoring, RF engineering (RF sharing between services, antenna patterns), Short Range Devices (SRD) and RF human hazards.

The contributions were created by the author; the input documents were sent from Tadiran (1992-2000) or from the Israeli Ministry of Communications (2000-2014). Since July 2015, contributions are on behalf of ATDI. Moreover, the Author reviewed the ITU-R computer programs,  headed the WP 9D Correspondence Group VHF/UHF BS-FS sharing, chaired CHAR (characteristics and operational requirements for FWA) for RLANS, co-chaired Joint Rapporteur Group JRG 8A-9B Fixed Wireless AccessThe Author serves as vice chair of WP 5C.

Unless specified, Contributions were solely composed by the author of the website. When the author of this website wrote part of the referred contribution, it is clearly specified: participated, edited or defended. Contributions before 1996 don’t appear at the archives of ITU. After 2015, all Contributions are prepared by the Author. Not all author’s contributions (also after 1996) are included. If a contribution is related to more than one ITU-R Working Party, it is mentioned once; however, if the contribution is contributed “for action” for more than one ITU-R Study Group, it is mentioned once at each SG. In addition, only few Liaison Statements (LS) to other groups, written mainly by the author, are also mentioned; they are inserted at the section of the originating Study Group. An ITU TIES password is needed in order to retrieve documents; please contact h.mazar@atdi-group.com, to get the file. Other publications (books, significant publications, articles, proceedings and presentations) and contributions to other ITU sectors (ITU-D and ITU-T) appear at http://mazar.atwebpages.com/CVMazarEN.pdf.
